CVE-2026-46276 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-09 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: fix zero-size GDS range init on RDNA4 RDNA4 (GFX 12) hardware removes the GDS, GWS, and OA on-chip memory resources. The gfx_v12_0 initialisation code correctly leaves adev->gds.gds_size, adev->gds.gws_size, and adev->gds.oa_size at zero to reflect this. amdgpu_ttm_init() unconditionally calls amdgpu_ttm_init_on_chip() for each of these resources regardless of size. When the size is zero, amdgpu_ttm_init_on_chip() forwards the call to ttm_range_man_init(), which calls drm_mm_init(mm, 0, 0). drm_mm_init() immediately fires DRM_MM_BUG_ON(start + size <= start) -- trivially true when size is zero -- crashing the kernel during modprobe of amdgpu on an RX 9070 XT. Guard against this by returning 0 early from amdgpu_ttm_init_on_chip() when size_in_page is zero. This skips TTM resource manager registration for hardware resources that are absent, without affecting any other GPU type. DRM_MM_BUG_ON() only asserts if CONFIG_DRM_DEBUG_MM is enabled in the kernel config. This is apparently rarely enabled as these chips have been in the market for over a year and this issue was only reported now. CVE-2026-46294 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-09 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm: fix a buffer overflow in ioctl processing Tony Asleson (using Claude) found a buffer overflow in dm-ioctl in the function retrieve_status: 1. The code in retrieve_status checks that the output string fits into the output buffer and writes the output string there 2. Then, the code aligns the "outptr" variable to the next 8-byte boundary: outptr = align_ptr(outptr); 3. The alignment doesn't check overflow, so outptr could point past the buffer end 4. The "for" loop is iterated again, it executes: remaining = len - (outptr - outbuf); 5. If "outptr" points past "outbuf + len", the arithmetics wraps around and the variable "remaining" contains unusually high number 6. With "remaining" being high, the code writes more data past the end of the buffer Luckily, this bug has no security implications because: 1. Only root can issue device mapper ioctls 2. The commonly used libraries that communicate with device mapper (libdevmapper and devicemapper-rs) use buffer size that is aligned to 8 bytes - thus, "outptr = align_ptr(outptr)" can't overshoot the input buffer and the bug can't happen accidentally
CVE-2026-27671 2026-06-09 9.8 Critical
Due to improper RFC protocol validation in the SAP Kernel used by the Application Server ABAP of SAP NetWeaver and ABAP Platform, an unauthenticated attacker can send a crafted RFC request that exploits logical errors in memory management, leading to memory corruption. This could lead to a high impact on the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the application.
CVE-2026-46307 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-08 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath5k: do not access array OOB Vincent reports: > The ath5k driver seems to do an array-index-out-of-bounds access as > shown by the UBSAN kernel message: > UBSAN: array-index-out-of-bounds in drivers/net/wireless/ath/ath5k/base.c:1741:20 > index 4 is out of range for type 'ieee80211_tx_rate [4]' > ... > Call Trace: > <TASK> > dump_stack_lvl+0x5d/0x80 > ubsan_epilogue+0x5/0x2b > __ubsan_handle_out_of_bounds.cold+0x46/0x4b > ath5k_tasklet_tx+0x4e0/0x560 [ath5k] > tasklet_action_common+0xb5/0x1c0 It is real. 'ts->ts_final_idx' can be 3 on 5212, so: info->status.rates[ts->ts_final_idx + 1].idx = -1; with the array defined as: struct ieee80211_tx_rate rates[IEEE80211_TX_MAX_RATES]; while the size is: #define IEEE80211_TX_MAX_RATES 4 is indeed bogus. Set this 'idx = -1' sentinel only if the array index is less than the array size. As mac80211 will not look at rates beyond the size (IEEE80211_TX_MAX_RATES). Note: The effect of the OOB write is negligible. It just overwrites the next member of info->status, i.e. ack_signal.
CVE-2026-40215 1 Openvpn 1 Openvpn 2026-06-08 N/A

The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks.
CVE-2026-46299 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-08 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hfsplus: fix held lock freed on hfsplus_fill_super() hfsplus_fill_super() calls hfs_find_init() to initialize a search structure, which acquires tree->tree_lock. If the subsequent call to hfsplus_cat_build_key() fails, the function jumps to the out_put_root error label without releasing the lock. The later cleanup path then frees the tree data structure with the lock still held, triggering a held lock freed warning. Fix this by adding the missing hfs_find_exit(&fd) call before jumping to the out_put_root error label. This ensures that tree->tree_lock is properly released on the error path. The bug was originally detected on v6.13-rc1 using an experimental static analysis tool we are developing, and we have verified that the issue persists in the latest mainline kernel. The tool is specifically designed to detect memory management issues. It is currently under active development and not yet publicly available. We confirmed the bug by runtime testing under QEMU with x86_64 defconfig, lockdep enabled, and CONFIG_HFSPLUS_FS=y. To trigger the error path, we used GDB to dynamically shrink the max_unistr_len parameter to 1 before hfsplus_asc2uni() is called. This forces hfsplus_asc2uni() to naturally return -ENAMETOOLONG, which propagates to hfsplus_cat_build_key() and exercises the faulty error path.
