CVSS v3.1 |
Microweber CMS 2.0 has Weak Password Requirements. The application does not enforce minimum password length or complexity during password resets. Users can set extremely weak passwords, including single-character passwords, which can lead to account compromise, including administrative accounts.
Kapsch TrafficCom RIS-9160 & RIS-9260 Roadside Units (RSUs) v3.2.0.829.23, v3.8.0.1119.42, and v4.6.0.1211.28 were discovered to lack secure password requirements for its BIOS Supervisor and User accounts, allowing attackers to bypass authentication via a bruteforce attack.
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in PMWeb 7.2.0. This affects an unknown part of the component Setting Handler. The manipulation leads to weak password requirements. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitability is told to be difficult. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. It is recommended to change the configuration settings. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
| IBM Transformation Extender Advanced 10.0.1
does not require that users should have strong passwords by default, which makes it easier for attackers to compromise user accounts. |
H3C devices running firmware version NX15V100R015 are vulnerable to unauthorized access due to insecure default credentials. The root user account has no password set, and the H3C user account uses the default password "admin," both stored in the /etc/shadow file. Attackers with network access can exploit these credentials to gain unauthorized root-level access to the device via the administrative interface or other network services, potentially leading to privilege escalation, information disclosure, or arbitrary code execution.
Users who were required to change their password could still access system information before changing their password
The LoMag WareHouse Management application version 1.0.20.120 and older were found to allow weak passwords. By default, hard-coded passwords of 10 characters with little or no complexity are allowed.
Schule is open-source school management system software. The generateOTP() function generates a 4-digit numeric One-Time Password (OTP). Prior to version 1.0.1, even if a secure random number generator is used, the short length and limited range (1000–9999) results in only 9000 possible combinations. This small keyspace makes the OTP highly vulnerable to brute-force attacks, especially in the absence of strong rate-limiting or lockout mechanisms. Version 1.0.1 fixes the issue.
A vulnerability was found in atjiu pybbs up to 6.0.0. It has been classified as critical. Affected is the function update of the file src/main/java/co/yiiu/pybbs/controller/admin/UserAdminController.java. The manipulation leads to weak password requirements. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitability is told to be difficult. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The patch is identified as d09cb19a8e7d7e5151282926ada54080244d499f. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue.
IBM Controller 11.0.0 through 11.0.1 and 11.1.0 does not require that users should have strong passwords by default, which makes it easier for attackers to compromise user accounts.
IBM App Connect Enterprise Certified Container 8.1, 8.2, 9.0, 9.1, 9.2, 10.0, 10.1, 11.0, 11.1, 11.2, 11.3, 11.4, 11.5, 11.6, 12.0, 12.1, 12.2, 12.3, 12.4, 12.5, 12.6, 12.7, 12.8, 12.9, and 12.10 DesignerAuthoring instances store their flows in a database that is protected by weaker than expected cryptographic algorithms that could be decrypted by a local user.
IBM Security Verify Governance 10.0.2 does not require that users should have strong passwords by default, which makes it easier for attackers to compromise user accounts.
IBM Aspera Console 3.4.0 through 3.4.4 allows passwords to be reused when a new user logs into the system.
File Browser provides a file managing interface within a specified directory and it can be used to upload, delete, preview, rename and edit files. Prior to version 2.34.1, a missing password policy and brute-force protection makes the authentication process insecure. Attackers could mount a brute-force attack to retrieve the passwords of all accounts in a given instance. This issue has been patched in version 2.34.1.
A vulnerability has been found in Tenda AC18 15.03.05.19 and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file /etc_ro/smb.conf of the component Samba. The manipulation leads to weak password requirements. The attack can be initiated remotely. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
Weak password requirements in OpenC3 COSMOS v6.0.0 allow attackers to bypass authentication via a brute force attack.
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in RRJ Nueva Ecija Engineer Online Portal 1.0. This affects an unknown part of the file change_password_teacher.php. The manipulation leads to weak password requirements. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitability is told to be difficult. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The identifier VDB-249501 was assigned to this vulnerability.
In Gradle Enterprise before 2023.1, a remote attacker may be able to gain access to a new installation (in certain installation scenarios) because of a non-unique initial system user password. Although this password must be changed upon the first login, it is possible that an attacker logs in before the legitimate administrator logs in.
Victure RX1800 EN_V1.0.0_r12_110933 was discovered to utilize a weak default password which includes the last 8 digits of the Mac address.
An issue in the password change function of Silverpeas v6.4.2 and lower allows for the bypassing of password complexity requirements.
