CVE-2026-8084 1 Osgeo 1 Gdal 2026-05-08 3.3 Low
A vulnerability was determined in OSGeo gdal up to 3.13.0dev-4. This vulnerability affects the function memmove of the file frmts/hdf4/hdf-eos/SWapi.c of the component HDF-EOS Grid File Handler. This manipulation causes out-of-bounds read. The attack is restricted to local execution. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. Upgrading to version 3.13.0RC1 is able to resolve this issue. Patch name: a791f70f8eaec540974ec989ca6fb00266b7646c. Upgrading the affected component is advised.
CVE-2026-43032 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-08 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFC: pn533: bound the UART receive buffer pn532_receive_buf() appends every incoming byte to dev->recv_skb and only resets the buffer after pn532_uart_rx_is_frame() recognizes a complete frame. A continuous stream of bytes without a valid PN532 frame header therefore keeps growing the skb until skb_put_u8() hits the tail limit. Drop the accumulated partial frame once the fixed receive buffer is full so malformed UART traffic cannot grow the skb past PN532_UART_SKB_BUFF_LEN.
CVE-2026-8088 1 Osgeo 1 Gdal 2026-05-08 3.3 Low
A weakness has been identified in OSGeo gdal up to 3.13.0dev-4. The affected element is the function GDfieldinfo of the file frmts/hdf4/hdf-eos/GDapi.c. Executing a manipulation can lead to out-of-bounds read. The attack needs to be launched locally. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 3.13.0RC1 is sufficient to fix this issue. This patch is called a791f70f8eaec540974ec989ca6fb00266b7646c. The affected component should be upgraded.
CVE-2026-43265 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-08 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: Ignore -EBUSY when checking nested events from vcpu_block() Ignore -EBUSY when checking nested events after exiting a blocking state while L2 is active, as exiting to userspace will generate a spurious userspace exit, usually with KVM_EXIT_UNKNOWN, and likely lead to the VM's demise. Continuing with the wakeup isn't perfect either, as *something* has gone sideways if a vCPU is awakened in L2 with an injected event (or worse, a nested run pending), but continuing on gives the VM a decent chance of surviving without any major side effects. As explained in the Fixes commits, it _should_ be impossible for a vCPU to be put into a blocking state with an already-injected event (exception, IRQ, or NMI). Unfortunately, userspace can stuff MP_STATE and/or injected events, and thus put the vCPU into what should be an impossible state. Don't bother trying to preserve the WARN, e.g. with an anti-syzkaller Kconfig, as WARNs can (hopefully) be added in paths where _KVM_ would be violating x86 architecture, e.g. by WARNing if KVM attempts to inject an exception or interrupt while the vCPU isn't running.
CVE-2026-43110 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-08 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: brcmfmac: validate bsscfg indices in IF events brcmf_fweh_handle_if_event() validates the firmware-provided interface index before it touches drvr->iflist[], but it still uses the raw bsscfgidx field as an array index without a matching range check. Reject IF events whose bsscfg index does not fit in drvr->iflist[] before indexing the interface array. [add missing wifi prefix]
CVE-2026-27644 1 Traccar 1 Traccar 2026-05-08 6.5 Medium
Traccar is an open source GPS tracking system. In versions between 6.11.1 and 6.13.0, the CSV export functionality writes position data, including user-controlled device and computed attributes, to CSV output without proper escaping. An attacker can inject spreadsheet formulas through exported fields. When a manager or administrator opens the exported CSV file in spreadsheet software, this can cause formula execution and lead to command execution or data exfiltration. This has been patched in version 6.13.0.
CVE-2026-29972 2026-05-08 8.2 High
nanoMODBUS through v1.22.0 has a stack-based buffer overflow in recv_read_registers_res() in nanomodbus.c. When a client calls nmbs_read_holding_registers() or nmbs_read_input_registers(), the library writes register data from the server response to the caller-provided buffer based on the response's byte_count field before validating that byte_count matches the requested quantity. A malicious Modbus TCP server can send a response with byte_count=250 (125 registers) regardless of the requested quantity, causing up to 248 bytes of attacker-controlled data to overflow the buffer, potentially allowing remote code execution.
CVE-2026-43112 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-08 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/smb/client: fix out-of-bounds read in cifs_sanitize_prepath When cifs_sanitize_prepath is called with an empty string or a string containing only delimiters (e.g., "/"), the current logic attempts to check *(cursor2 - 1) before cursor2 has advanced. This results in an out-of-bounds read. This patch adds an early exit check after stripping prepended delimiters. If no path content remains, the function returns NULL. The bug was identified via manual audit and verified using a standalone test case compiled with AddressSanitizer, which triggered a SEGV on affected inputs.
CVE-2026-43274 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-08 8.4 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mailbox: mchp-ipc-sbi: fix out-of-bounds access in mchp_ipc_get_cluster_aggr_irq() The cluster_cfg array is dynamically allocated to hold per-CPU configuration structures, with its size based on the number of online CPUs. Previously, this array was indexed using hartid, which may be non-contiguous or exceed the bounds of the array, leading to out-of-bounds access. Switch to using cpuid as the index, as it is guaranteed to be within the valid range provided by for_each_online_cpu().
CVE-2026-43281 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-08 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mailbox: Prevent out-of-bounds access in fw_mbox_index_xlate() Although it is guided that `#mbox-cells` must be at least 1, there are many instances of `#mbox-cells = <0>;` in the device tree. If that is the case and the corresponding mailbox controller does not provide `fw_xlate` and of_xlate` function pointers, `fw_mbox_index_xlate()` will be used by default and out-of-bounds accesses could occur due to lack of bounds check in that function.
CVE-2026-8086 1 Osgeo 1 Gdal 2026-05-08 5.3 Medium
A vulnerability was identified in OSGeo gdal up to 3.13.0dev-4. This issue affects the function SWnentries of the file frmts/hdf4/hdf-eos/SWapi.c. Such manipulation of the argument DimensionName leads to heap-based buffer overflow. The attack must be carried out locally. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. Upgrading to version 3.12.4RC1 is capable of addressing this issue. The name of the patch is 9491e794f1757f08063ea2f7a274ad2994afa636. It is advisable to upgrade the affected component.
CVE-2026-43280 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-08 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe: Add bounds check on pat_index to prevent OOB kernel read in madvise When user provides a bogus pat_index value through the madvise IOCTL, the xe_pat_index_get_coh_mode() function performs an array access without validating bounds. This allows a malicious user to trigger an out-of-bounds kernel read from the xe->pat.table array. The vulnerability exists because the validation in madvise_args_are_sane() directly calls xe_pat_index_get_coh_mode(xe, args->pat_index.val) without first checking if pat_index is within [0, xe->pat.n_entries). Although xe_pat_index_get_coh_mode() has a WARN_ON to catch this in debug builds, it still performs the unsafe array access in production kernels. v2(Matthew Auld) - Using array_index_nospec() to mitigate spectre attacks when the value is used v3(Matthew Auld) - Put the declarations at the start of the block (cherry picked from commit 944a3329b05510d55c69c2ef455136e2fc02de29)
CVE-2026-8087 1 Osgeo 1 Gdal 2026-05-08 5.3 Medium
A security flaw has been discovered in OSGeo gdal up to 3.13.0dev-4. Impacted is the function GDnentries of the file frmts/hdf4/hdf-eos/GDapi.c. Performing a manipulation of the argument DataFieldName results in heap-based buffer overflow. The attack must be initiated from a local position. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 3.13.0RC1 is recommended to address this issue. The patch is named 184f77dbcc74118c062c05e464c88161d3c37b9b. You should upgrade the affected component.
CVE-2026-43042 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-08 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mpls: add seqcount to protect the platform_label{,s} pair The RCU-protected codepaths (mpls_forward, mpls_dump_routes) can have an inconsistent view of platform_labels vs platform_label in case of a concurrent resize (resize_platform_label_table, under platform_mutex). This can lead to OOB accesses. This patch adds a seqcount, so that we get a consistent snapshot. Note that mpls_label_ok is also susceptible to this, so the check against RTA_DST in rtm_to_route_config, done outside platform_mutex, is not sufficient. This value gets passed to mpls_label_ok once more in both mpls_route_add and mpls_route_del, so there is no issue, but that additional check must not be removed.
