CVE-2017-6615 1 Cisco 1 Ios Xe 2025-04-20 N/A
A vulnerability in the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) subsystem of Cisco IOS XE 3.16 could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability is due to a race condition that could occur when the affected software processes an SNMP read request that contains certain criteria for a specific object ID (OID) and an active crypto session is disconnected on an affected device. An attacker who can authenticate to an affected device could trigger this vulnerability by issuing an SNMP request for a specific OID on the device. A successful exploit will cause the device to restart due to an attempt to access an invalid memory region. The attacker does not control how or when crypto sessions are disconnected on the device. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCvb94392.

CVE-2017-9685 1 Google 1 Android 2025-04-20 N/A
In all Qualcomm products with Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel, a race condition in a WLAN driver can lead to a Use After Free condition.
CVE-2017-9697 1 Google 1 Android 2025-04-20 N/A
In Android for MSM, Firefox OS for MSM, QRD Android, with all Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel, a race condition can allow access to already freed memory while reading command registration table entries in diag_dbgfs_read_table.
CVE-2017-9708 1 Google 1 Android 2025-04-20 N/A
In Android for MSM, Firefox OS for MSM, QRD Android, with all Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel, in the camera driver, the function "msm_ois_power_down" is called without a mutex and a race condition can occur in variable "*reg_ptr" of sub function "msm_camera_config_single_vreg".
CVE-2017-9718 1 Google 1 Android 2025-04-20 N/A
In Android for MSM, Firefox OS for MSM, QRD Android, with all Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel, a race condition in a multimedia driver can potentially lead to a buffer overwrite.
CVE-2017-8265 1 Google 1 Android 2025-04-20 N/A
In all Qualcomm products with Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel, a race condition exists in a video driver which can lead to a double free.
CVE-2017-2636 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 9 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 6 more 2025-04-20 7.0 High
Race condition in drivers/tty/n_hdlc.c in the Linux kernel through 4.10.1 allows local users to gain privileges or cause a denial of service (double free) by setting the HDLC line discipline.
CVE-2017-15357 1 Arqbackup 1 Arq 2025-04-20 N/A
The setpermissions function in the auto-updater in Arq before 5.9.7 for Mac allows local users to gain root privileges via a symlink attack on the updater binary itself.
CVE-2017-2671 2 Linux, Redhat 4 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Mrg and 1 more 2025-04-20 N/A
The ping_unhash function in net/ipv4/ping.c in the Linux kernel through 4.10.8 is too late in obtaining a certain lock and consequently cannot ensure that disconnect function calls are safe, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (panic) by leveraging access to the protocol value of IPPROTO_ICMP in a socket system call.
CVE-2017-11823 1 Microsoft 2 Windows 10, Windows Server 2016 2025-04-20 N/A
The Microsoft Device Guard on Microsoft Windows 10 Gold, 1511, 1607, and 1703, and Windows Server 2016 allows a security feature bypass by the way it handles Windows PowerShell sessions, aka "Microsoft Windows Security Feature Bypass".
CVE-2017-10915 1 Xen 1 Xen 2025-04-20 N/A
The shadow-paging feature in Xen through 4.8.x mismanages page references and consequently introduces a race condition, which allows guest OS users to obtain Xen privileges, aka XSA-219.
CVE-2017-10914 1 Xen 1 Xen 2025-04-20 N/A
The grant-table feature in Xen through 4.8.x has a race condition leading to a double free, which allows guest OS users to cause a denial of service (memory consumption), or possibly obtain sensitive information or gain privileges, aka XSA-218 bug 2.
CVE-2017-10913 1 Xen 1 Xen 2025-04-20 N/A
The grant-table feature in Xen through 4.8.x provides false mapping information in certain cases of concurrent unmap calls, which allows backend attackers to obtain sensitive information or gain privileges, aka XSA-218 bug 1.

CVE-2017-1000405 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-04-20 7.0 High
The Linux Kernel versions 2.6.38 through 4.14 have a problematic use of pmd_mkdirty() in the touch_pmd() function inside the THP implementation. touch_pmd() can be reached by get_user_pages(). In such case, the pmd will become dirty. This scenario breaks the new can_follow_write_pmd()'s logic - pmd can become dirty without going through a COW cycle. This bug is not as severe as the original "Dirty cow" because an ext4 file (or any other regular file) cannot be mapped using THP. Nevertheless, it does allow us to overwrite read-only huge pages. For example, the zero huge page and sealed shmem files can be overwritten (since their mapping can be populated using THP). Note that after the first write page-fault to the zero page, it will be replaced with a new fresh (and zeroed) thp.
