CVE-2025-8291 1 Python 1 Cpython 2026-04-21 4.3 Medium
The 'zipfile' module would not check the validity of the ZIP64 End of Central Directory (EOCD) Locator record offset value would not be used to locate the ZIP64 EOCD record, instead the ZIP64 EOCD record would be assumed to be the previous record in the ZIP archive. This could be abused to create ZIP archives that are handled differently by the 'zipfile' module compared to other ZIP implementations. Remediation maintains this behavior, but checks that the offset specified in the ZIP64 EOCD Locator record matches the expected value.
CVE-2025-8194 1 Python 1 Cpython 2026-04-21 7.5 High
There is a defect in the CPython “tarfile” module affecting the “TarFile” extraction and entry enumeration APIs. The tar implementation would process tar archives with negative offsets without error, resulting in an infinite loop and deadlock during the parsing of maliciously crafted tar archives. This vulnerability can be mitigated by including the following patch after importing the “tarfile” module:  https://gist.github.com/sethmlarson/1716ac5b82b73dbcbf23ad2eff8b33e1
CVE-2025-6069 1 Python 1 Cpython 2026-04-21 4.3 Medium
The html.parser.HTMLParser class had worse-case quadratic complexity when processing certain crafted malformed inputs potentially leading to amplified denial-of-service.
CVE-2026-5928 1 The Gnu C Library 1 Glibc 2026-04-21 7.5 High
Calling the ungetwc function on a FILE stream with wide characters encoded in a character set that has overlaps between its single byte and multi-byte character encodings, in the GNU C Library version 2.43 or earlier, may result in an attempt to read bytes before an allocated buffer, potentially resulting in unintentional disclosure of neighboring data in the heap, or a program crash. A bug in the wide character pushback implementation (_IO_wdefault_pbackfail in libio/wgenops.c) causes ungetwc() to operate on the regular character buffer (fp->_IO_read_ptr) instead of the actual wide-stream read pointer (fp->_wide_data->_IO_read_ptr). The program crash may happen in cases where fp->_IO_read_ptr is not initialized and hence points to NULL. The buffer under-read requires a special situation where the input character encoding is such that there are overlaps between single byte representations and multibyte representations in that encoding, resulting in spurious matches. The spurious match case is not possible in the standard Unicode character sets.
CVE-2026-5450 1 The Gnu C Library 1 Glibc 2026-04-21 9.8 Critical
Calling the scanf family of functions with a %mc (malloc'd character match) in the GNU C Library version 2.7 to version 2.43 with a format width specifier with an explicit width greater than 1024 could result in a one byte heap buffer overflow.
CVE-2026-5358 1 The Gnu C Library 1 Glibc 2026-04-21 9.1 Critical
The obsolete nis_local_principal function in the GNU C Library version 2.43 and older may overflow a buffer in the data section, which could allow an attacker to spoof a crafted response to a UDP request generated by this function and overwrite neighboring static data in the requesting application. NIS support is obsolete and has been deprecated in the GNU C Library since version 2.26 and is only maintained for legacy usage. Applications should port away from NIS to more modern identity and access management services.
CVE-2026-40880 2026-04-21 N/A
ZEBRA is a Zcash node written entirely in Rust. Prior to zebrad version 4.3.1 and zebra-consensus version 5.0.2, a logic error in Zebra's transaction verification cache could allow a malicious miner to induce a consensus split. By carefully submitting a transaction that is valid for height H+1 but invalid for H+2 and then mining that transaction in a block at height H+2, a miner could cause vulnerable Zebra nodes to accept an invalid block, leading to a consensus split from the rest of the Zcash network. This vulnerability is fixed in zebrad version 4.3.1 and zebra-consensus version 5.0.2.
CVE-2025-4517 2 Python, Redhat 7 Cpython, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 4 more 2026-04-21 9.4 Critical
Allows arbitrary filesystem writes outside the extraction directory during extraction with filter="data". You are affected by this vulnerability if using the tarfile module to extract untrusted tar archives using TarFile.extractall() or TarFile.extract() using the filter= parameter with a value of "data" or "tar". See the tarfile extraction filters documentation https://docs.python.org/3/library/tarfile.html#tarfile-extraction-filter  for more information. Note that for Python 3.14 or later the default value of filter= changed from "no filtering" to `"data", so if you are relying on this new default behavior then your usage is also affected. Note that none of these vulnerabilities significantly affect the installation of source distributions which are tar archives as source distributions already allow arbitrary code execution during the build process. However when evaluating source distributions it's important to avoid installing source distributions with suspicious links.
CVE-2026-40874 2026-04-21 N/A
mailcow: dockerized is an open source groupware/email suite based on docker. In versions prior to 2026-03b, no administrator verification takes place when deleting Forwarding Hosts with `/api/v1/delete/fwdhost`. Any authenticated user can call this API. Checks are only applied for edit/add actions, but deletion can still significantly disrupt the mail service. Version 2026-03b fixes the vulnerability.
CVE-2026-40866 2026-04-21 N/A
Horilla is a free and open source Human Resource Management System (HRMS). In 1.5.0, an insecure direct object reference in the employee document upload endpoint allows any authenticated user to overwrite or replace or corrupt another employee’s document by changing the document ID in the upload request. This enables unauthorized modification of HR records.
CVE-2026-40611 2026-04-21 8.8 High
Let's Encrypt client and ACME library written in Go (Lego). Prior to 4.34.0, the webroot HTTP-01 challenge provider in lego is vulnerable to arbitrary file write and deletion via path traversal. A malicious ACME server can supply a crafted challenge token containing ../ sequences, causing lego to write attacker-influenced content to any path writable by the lego process. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.34.0.
CVE-2026-34839 1 Nicolargo 1 Glances 2026-04-21 N/A
Glances is an open-source system cross-platform monitoring tool. Prior to version 4.5.4, the Glances web server exposes a REST API (`/api/4/*`) that is accessible without authentication and allows cross-origin requests from any origin due to a permissive CORS policy (`Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *`). This allows a malicious website to read sensitive system information from a running Glances instance in the victim’s browser, leading to cross-origin data exfiltration. While a previous advisory exists for XML-RPC CORS issues, this report demonstrates that the REST API (`/api/4/*`) is also affected and exposes significantly more sensitive data. Version 4.5.4 patches the issue.
CVE-2026-33626 1 Internlm 1 Lmdeploy 2026-04-21 7.5 High
LMDeploy is a toolkit for compressing, deploying, and serving large language models. Versions prior to 0.12.3 have a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in LMDeploy's vision-language module. The `load_image()` function in `lmdeploy/vl/utils.py` fetches arbitrary URLs without validating internal/private IP addresses, allowing attackers to access cloud metadata services, internal networks, and sensitive resources. Version 0.12.3 patches the issue.
CVE-2026-35169 2 Aces, Mcgill 2 Loris, Loris 2026-04-21 8.7 High
LORIS (Longitudinal Online Research and Imaging System) is a self-hosted web application that provides data- and project-management for neuroimaging research. From to before 27.0.3 and 28.0.1, the help_editor module of LORIS did not properly sanitize some user supplied variables which could result in a reflected cross-site scripting attack if a user is tricked into following an invalid link. The same input vector could also allow an attacker to download arbitrary markdown files on an unpatched server. This vulnerability is fixed in 27.0.3 and 28.0.1.
CVE-2025-4516 1 Python 1 Cpython 2026-04-21 5.1 Medium
There is an issue in CPython when using `bytes.decode("unicode_escape", error="ignore|replace")`. If you are not using the "unicode_escape" encoding or an error handler your usage is not affected. To work-around this issue you may stop using the error= handler and instead wrap the bytes.decode() call in a try-except catching the DecodeError.
CVE-2026-29648 2026-04-21 8.8 High
In OpenXiangShan NEMU, when Smstateen is enabled, clearing mstateen0.ENVCFG does not correctly restrict access to henvcfg and senvcfg. As a result, less-privileged code may read or write these CSRs without the required exception, potentially bypassing intended state-enable based isolation controls in virtualized or multi-privilege environments.
CVE-2026-29647 2026-04-21 6.5 Medium
In OpenXiangShan NEMU, insufficient Smstateen permission enforcement allows lower-privileged code to access IMSIC state via stopei/vstopei CSRs even when mstateen0.IMSIC is cleared, potentially enabling cross-context information leakage or disruption of interrupt handling.
CVE-2026-29646 2026-04-21 9.8 Critical
In OpenXiangShan NEMU prior to 55295c4, when running with RVH (Hypervisor extension) enabled, a VS-mode guest write to the supervisor interrupt-enable CSR (sie) may be handled incorrectly and can influence machine-level interrupt enable state (mie). This breaks privilege/virtualization isolation and can lead to denial of service or privilege-boundary violation in environments relying on NEMU for correct interrupt virtualization.
CVE-2026-29645 2026-04-21 7.5 High
NEMU (OpenXiangShan/NEMU) before v2025.12.r2 contains an improper instruction-validation flaw in its RISC-V Vector (RVV) decoder. The decoder does not correctly validate the funct3 field when decoding vsetvli/vsetivli/vsetvl, allowing certain invalid OP-V instruction encodings to be misinterpreted and executed as vset* configuration instructions rather than raising an illegal-instruction exception. This can be exploited by providing crafted RISC-V binaries to cause incorrect trap behavior, architectural state corruption/divergence, and potential denial of service in systems that rely on NEMU for correct execution or sandboxing.
CVE-2026-29642 1 Openxiangshan 1 Xiangshan 2026-04-21 7.8 High
A local attacker who can execute privileged CSR operations (or can induce firmware to do so) performs carefully crafted reads/writes to menvcfg (e.g., csrrs in M-mode). On affected XiangShan versions (commit aecf601e803bfd2371667a3fb60bfcd83c333027, 2024-11-19), these menvcfg accesses can unexpectedly set WPRI (reserved) bits in the status view (xstatus) to 1. RISC-V defines WPRI fields as "writes preserve values, reads ignore values," i.e., they must not be modified by software manipulating other fields, and menvcfg itself contains multiple WPRI fields.
