| The deprecated functions ns_printrrf, ns_printrr and fp_nquery in the GNU C Library version 2.2 and newer fail to validate the RDATA content against the RDATA length in a DNS response when processing LOC, CERT, TKEY or TSIG records, which may allow an attacker to craft a DNS response, causing a target application to crash or read uninitialized memory.
These functions are for application debugging only and hence not in the path of code executed by the DNS resolver. Further, they have been deprecated since version 2.34 and should not be used by any new applications. Applications should consider porting away from these interfaces since they may be removed in future versions. |

This issue affects all versions of the Lua implementation of Pony Mail. There is a Python implementation under development under the name "Pony Mail Foal" that is not affected by this issue, but hasn't been released yet.
As the Lua implementation of this project is retired, we do not plan to release a version that fixes this issue. Users are recommended to find an alternative or restrict access to the instance to trusted users.
NOTE: This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |

| Totara LMS v19.1.5 and before is vulnerable to HTML Injection. An attacker can inject malicious HTML code in a message and send it to all the users in the application, resulting in executing the code and may lead to session hijacking and executing commands on the victim's browser. NOTE: The supplier states that the product name is Totara Learning and that the functionality referenced is the in app messaging client. They note that the in app messaging client only has the ability to embed a specific allowed list of HTML tags commonly used for text enhancement, which includes italic, bold, underline, strong, etc. Last, they state that the in app messaging client cannot embed <script>, <style>, <iframe>, <object>, <embed>, <form>, <input>, <button>, <svg>, <math>, etc., and any attempt to embed tags or attributes outside of the allowed list (including onerror, onaction, etc.) is sanitized via DOMPurify. |

| A flaw was found in libarchive. An Undefined Behavior vulnerability exists in the zisofs decompression logic, caused by improper validation of a field (`pz_log2_bs`) read from ISO9660 Rock Ridge extensions. A remote attacker can exploit this by supplying a specially crafted ISO file. This can lead to incorrect memory allocation and potential application crashes, resulting in a denial-of-service (DoS) condition. |

| llama.cpp is an inference of several LLM models in C/C++. Prior to b8146, the gguf_init_from_file_impl() in gguf.cpp is vulnerable to an Integer overflow, leading to an undersized heap allocation. Using the subsequent fread() writes 528+ bytes of attacker-controlled data past the buffer boundary. This is a bypass of a similar bug in the same file - CVE-2025-53630, but the fix overlooked some areas. This vulnerability is fixed in b8146. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
btrfs: fix leak of kobject name for sub-group space_info
When create_space_info_sub_group() allocates elements of
space_info->sub_group[], kobject_init_and_add() is called for each
element via btrfs_sysfs_add_space_info_type(). However, when
check_removing_space_info() frees these elements, it does not call
btrfs_sysfs_remove_space_info() on them. As a result, kobject_put() is
not called and the associated kobj->name objects are leaked.
This memory leak is reproduced by running the blktests test case
zbd/009 on kernels built with CONFIG_DEBUG_KMEMLEAK. The kmemleak
feature reports the following error:

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfs: Fix read abandonment during retry
Under certain circumstances, all the remaining subrequests from a read
request will get abandoned during retry. The abandonment process expects
the 'subreq' variable to be set to the place to start abandonment from, but
it doesn't always have a useful value (it will be uninitialised on the
first pass through the loop and it may point to a deleted subrequest on
later passes).
Fix the first jump to "abandon:" to set subreq to the start of the first
subrequest expected to need retry (which, in this abandonment case, turned
out unexpectedly to no longer have NEED_RETRY set).
Also clear the subreq pointer after discarding superfluous retryable
subrequests to cause an oops if we do try to access it. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfs: Fix kernel BUG in netfs_limit_iter() for ITER_KVEC iterators
When a process crashes and the kernel writes a core dump to a 9P
filesystem, __kernel_write() creates an ITER_KVEC iterator. This
iterator reaches netfs_limit_iter() via netfs_unbuffered_write(), which
only handles ITER_FOLIOQ, ITER_BVEC and ITER_XARRAY iterator types,
hitting the BUG() for any other type.
Fix this by adding netfs_limit_kvec() following the same pattern as
netfs_limit_bvec(), since both kvec and bvec are simple segment arrays
with pointer and length fields. Dispatch it from netfs_limit_iter() when
the iterator type is ITER_KVEC. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
dmaengine: idxd: Fix leaking event log memory
During the device remove process, the device is reset, causing the
configuration registers to go back to their default state, which is
zero. As the driver is checking if the event log support was enabled
before deallocating, it will fail if a reset happened before.
Do not check if the support was enabled, the check for 'idxd->evl'
being valid (only allocated if the HW capability is available) is
enough. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
dmaengine: idxd: Fix memory leak when a wq is reset
idxd_wq_disable_cleanup() which is called from the reset path for a
workqueue, sets the wq type to NONE, which for other parts of the
driver mean that the wq is empty (all its resources were released).
Only set the wq type to NONE after its resources are released. |
