| CVE-2025-38364 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2025-12-16 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: maple_tree: fix MA_STATE_PREALLOC flag in mas_preallocate() Temporarily clear the preallocation flag when explicitly requesting allocations. Pre-existing allocations are already counted against the request through mas_node_count_gfp(), but the allocations will not happen if the MA_STATE_PREALLOC flag is set. This flag is meant to avoid re-allocating in bulk allocation mode, and to detect issues with preallocation calculations. The MA_STATE_PREALLOC flag should also always be set on zero allocations so that detection of underflow allocations will print a WARN_ON() during consumption. User visible effect of this flaw is a WARN_ON() followed by a null pointer dereference when subsequent requests for larger number of nodes is ignored, such as the vma merge retry in mmap_region() caused by drivers altering the vma flags (which happens in v6.6, at least) | ||||

| CVE-2024-56705 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2025-12-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: atomisp: Add check for rgby_data memory allocation failure In ia_css_3a_statistics_allocate(), there is no check on the allocation result of the rgby_data memory. If rgby_data is not successfully allocated, it may trigger the assert(host_stats->rgby_data) assertion in ia_css_s3a_hmem_decode(). Adding a check to fix this potential issue. | ||||

| Improper Limitation of a Pathname 'Path Traversal') vulnerability in Algosec Firewall Analyzer on Linux, 64 bit allows an authenticated user to upload files to a restricted directory leading to code injection. This issue affects Algosec Firewall Analyzer: A33.0 (up to build 320), A33.10 (up to build 210). | ||||
| CVE-2024-26800 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-12-11 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tls: fix use-after-free on failed backlog decryption When the decrypt request goes to the backlog and crypto_aead_decrypt returns -EBUSY, tls_do_decryption will wait until all async decryptions have completed. If one of them fails, tls_do_decryption will return -EBADMSG and tls_decrypt_sg jumps to the error path, releasing all the pages. But the pages have been passed to the async callback, and have already been released by tls_decrypt_done. The only true async case is when crypto_aead_decrypt returns -EINPROGRESS. With -EBUSY, we already waited so we can tell tls_sw_recvmsg that the data is available for immediate copy, but we need to notify tls_decrypt_sg (via the new ->async_done flag) that the memory has already been released. | ||||
| CVE-2023-5197 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2025-12-11 | 7.8 High |
| A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfilter: nf_tables component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. Addition and removal of rules from chain bindings within the same transaction causes leads to use-after-free. We recommend upgrading past commit f15f29fd4779be8a418b66e9d52979bb6d6c2325. | ||||
| CVE-2025-66507 | 3 1panel, Fit2cloud, Linux | 3 1panel, 1panel, Linux | 2025-12-10 | 7.5 High |
| 1Panel is an open-source, web-based control panel for Linux server management. Versions 2.0.13 and below allow an unauthenticated attacker to disable CAPTCHA verification by abusing a client-controlled parameter. Because the server previously trusted this value without proper validation, CAPTCHA protections can be bypassed, enabling automated login attempts and significantly increasing the risk of account takeover (ATO). This issue is fixed in version 2.0.14. | ||||
| CVE-2025-54293 | 2 Canonical, Linux | 3 Lxd, Linux, Linux Kernel | 2025-12-10 | 6.5 Medium |
| Path Traversal in the log file retrieval function in Canonical LXD 5.0 LTS on Linux allows authenticated remote attackers to read arbitrary files on the host system via crafted log file names or symbolic links. | ||||

| NVIDIA NVTabular for Linux contains a vulnerability in the Workflow component, where a user could cause a deserialization issue. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, denial of service, information disclosure, and data tampering. | ||||
| CVE-2021-47147 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-12-10 | 6.2 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ptp: ocp: Fix a resource leak in an error handling path If an error occurs after a successful 'pci_ioremap_bar()' call, it must be undone by a corresponding 'pci_iounmap()' call, as already done in the remove function. | ||||
| CVE-2025-40327 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-12-09 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf/core: Fix system hang caused by cpu-clock usage cpu-clock usage by the async-profiler tool can trigger a system hang, which got bisected back to the following commit by Octavia Togami: 18dbcbfabfff ("perf: Fix the POLL_HUP delivery breakage") causes this issue The root cause of the hang is that cpu-clock is a special type of SW event which relies on hrtimers. The __perf_event_overflow() callback is invoked from the hrtimer handler for cpu-clock events, and __perf_event_overflow() tries to call cpu_clock_event_stop() to stop the event, which calls htimer_cancel() to cancel the hrtimer. But that's a recursion into the hrtimer code from a hrtimer handler, which (unsurprisingly) deadlocks. To fix this bug, use hrtimer_try_to_cancel() instead, and set the PERF_HES_STOPPED flag, which causes perf_swevent_hrtimer() to stop the event once it sees the PERF_HES_STOPPED flag. [ mingo: Fixed the comments and improved the changelog. ] | ||||
| CVE-2025-40328 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-12-09 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fix potential UAF in smb2_close_cached_fid() find_or_create_cached_dir() could grab a new reference after kref_put() had seen the refcount drop to zero but before cfid_list_lock is acquired in smb2_close_cached_fid(), leading to use-after-free. Switch to kref_put_lock() so cfid_release() is called with cfid_list_lock held, closing that gap. | ||||
