| Decidim is a participatory democracy framework. Starting in version 0.0.1 and prior to versions 0.30.5 and 0.31.1, the root level `commentable` field in the API allows access to all commentable resources within the platform, without any permission checks. All Decidim instances are impacted that have not secured the `/api` endpoint. The `/api` endpoint is publicly available with the default configuration. Versions 0.30.5 and 0.31.1 fix the issue. As a workaround, limit the scope to only authenticated users by limiting access to the `/api` endpoint. This would require custom code or installing the 3rd party module `Decidim::Apiauth`. With custom code, the `/api` endpoint can be limited to only authenticated users. The same configuration can be also used without the `allow` statements to disable all traffic to the the `/api` endpoint. When considering a workaround and the seriousness of the vulnerability, please consider the nature of the platform. If the platform is primarily serving public data, this vulnerability is not serious by its nature. If the platform is protecting some resources, e.g. inside private participation spaces, the vulnerability may expose some data to the attacker that is not meant public. For those who have enabled the organization setting "Force users to authenticate before access organization", the scope of this vulnerability is limited to the users who are allowed to log in to the Decidim platform. This setting was introduced in version 0.19.0 and it was applied to the `/api` endpoint in version 0.22.0. | ||||

Versions 0.30.5 and 0.31.1 fix the issue. As a workaround, disable amendment reactions for the amendable component (e.g. proposals). | ||||

| FreeScout is a free self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to version 1.8.213, an unauthenticated attacker can inject arbitrary HTML into outgoing emails generated by FreeScout by sending an email with a crafted From display name. The name is stored in the database without sanitization and rendered unescaped into outgoing reply emails via the `{%customer.fullName%}` signature variable. This allows embedding phishing links, tracking pixels, and spoofed content inside legitimate support emails sent from the organization's address. Version 1.8.213 fixes the issue. | ||||

| FreeScout is a free self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to version 1.8.213, FreeScout's linkify() function in app/Misc/Helper.php converts plain-text URLs in email bodies into HTML anchor tags without escaping double-quote characters (") in the URL. HTMLPurifier (called first via getCleanBody()) preserves literal " characters in text nodes. linkify() then wraps URLs including those " chars inside an unescaped href="..." attribute, breaking out of the href and injecting arbitrary HTML attributes. | BACnet Stack is a BACnet open source protocol stack C library for embedded systems. Prior to 1.4.3, decode_signed32() in src/bacnet/bacint.c reconstructs a 32-bit signed integer from four APDU bytes using signed left shifts. When any of the four bytes has bit 7 set (value ≥ 0x80), the left-shift operation overflows a signed int32_t, which is undefined behavior per the C standard. This is flagged thousands of times per minute by UndefinedBehaviorSanitizer on any BACnet input containing signed-integer property values with high-bit-set bytes. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.4.3. | ||||

| Signal K Server is a server application that runs on a central hub in a boat. Versions prior to 2.25.0 are vulnerable to an unauthenticated Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) attack within the WebSocket subscription handling logic. By injecting unescaped regex metacharacters into the `context` parameter of a stream subscription, an attacker can force the server's Node.js event loop into a catastrophic backtracking loop when evaluating long string identifiers (like the server's self UUID). This results in a total Denial of Service (DoS) where the server CPU spikes to 100% and becomes completely unresponsive to further API or socket requests. Version 2.25.0 contains a fix. | ||||
