| CVE-2026-31447 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-22 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: reject mount if bigalloc with s_first_data_block != 0 bigalloc with s_first_data_block != 0 is not supported, reject mounting it. | ||||
| CVE-2026-31457 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-22 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/sysfs: check contexts->nr in repeat_call_fn damon_sysfs_repeat_call_fn() calls damon_sysfs_upd_tuned_intervals(), damon_sysfs_upd_schemes_stats(), and damon_sysfs_upd_schemes_effective_quotas() without checking contexts->nr. If nr_contexts is set to 0 via sysfs while DAMON is running, these functions dereference contexts_arr[0] and cause a NULL pointer dereference. Add the missing check. For example, the issue can be reproduced using DAMON sysfs interface and DAMON user-space tool (damo) [1] like below. $ sudo damo start --refresh_interval 1s $ echo 0 | sudo tee \ /sys/kernel/mm/damon/admin/kdamonds/0/contexts/nr_contexts | ||||
| CVE-2026-31458 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-22 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/sysfs: check contexts->nr before accessing contexts_arr[0] Multiple sysfs command paths dereference contexts_arr[0] without first verifying that kdamond->contexts->nr == 1. A user can set nr_contexts to 0 via sysfs while DAMON is running, causing NULL pointer dereferences. In more detail, the issue can be triggered by privileged users like below. First, start DAMON and make contexts directory empty (kdamond->contexts->nr == 0). # damo start # cd /sys/kernel/mm/damon/admin/kdamonds/0 # echo 0 > contexts/nr_contexts Then, each of below commands will cause the NULL pointer dereference. # echo update_schemes_stats > state # echo update_schemes_tried_regions > state # echo update_schemes_tried_bytes > state # echo update_schemes_effective_quotas > state # echo update_tuned_intervals > state Guard all commands (except OFF) at the entry point of damon_sysfs_handle_cmd(). | ||||
| CVE-2026-31472 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-22 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: iptfs: validate inner IPv4 header length in IPTFS payload Add validation of the inner IPv4 packet tot_len and ihl fields parsed from decrypted IPTFS payloads in __input_process_payload(). A crafted ESP packet containing an inner IPv4 header with tot_len=0 causes an infinite loop: iplen=0 leads to capturelen=min(0, remaining)=0, so the data offset never advances and the while(data < tail) loop never terminates, spinning forever in softirq context. Reject inner IPv4 packets where tot_len < ihl*4 or ihl*4 < sizeof(struct iphdr), which catches both the tot_len=0 case and malformed ihl values. The normal IP stack performs this validation in ip_rcv_core(), but IPTFS extracts and processes inner packets before they reach that layer. | ||||
| CVE-2026-31486 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-22 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (pmbus/core) Protect regulator operations with mutex The regulator operations pmbus_regulator_get_voltage(), pmbus_regulator_set_voltage(), and pmbus_regulator_list_voltage() access PMBus registers and shared data but were not protected by the update_lock mutex. This could lead to race conditions. However, adding mutex protection directly to these functions causes a deadlock because pmbus_regulator_notify() (which calls regulator_notifier_call_chain()) is often called with the mutex already held (e.g., from pmbus_fault_handler()). If a regulator callback then calls one of the now-protected voltage functions, it will attempt to acquire the same mutex. Rework pmbus_regulator_notify() to utilize a worker function to send notifications outside of the mutex protection. Events are stored as atomics in a per-page bitmask and processed by the worker. Initialize the worker and its associated data during regulator registration, and ensure it is cancelled on device removal using devm_add_action_or_reset(). While at it, remove the unnecessary include of linux/of.h. | ||||
